Riders for Refugees – Operation Jacket Drop (Vienna)

We are teaming up with Riders for Refugees for Operation Jacket Drop, a call to donate winter jackets that will be send down to Greece to help refugees and homeless people to get through the winter!

Riders for Refugees was founded to create awareness within the snowboarding community and to encourage riders to become more involved in the refugee cause. This is the second jacket drop mission after last winter’s in Calais. Thanks to Riders for Refugees, pro riders and everyday snowboarders are banding together to help out refugees who have left their dangerous and uncertain situations at home to seek assistance and safety.

HOW ARE WE GOING TO DO THIS?

Riders for Refugees will rent a van from London and make their way through Europe stopping at pickup points in the UK, Holland, German and Austria to fill the van with as many jackets as possible. Brands, individuals and professional riders alike have already reached out and started to collect jackets.

So from today on, we are collecting jackets at our adhocPAD, simply show up and drop the off at Kienmayergasse 22, 1140 Wien, from 10 – 17h (until Jan 22th). Or email/PM us if you need to come at a later time, we can probably work out a way to do it!
